It is such a common thing that is broken that it really make the browser unusable in some sense.

@deloreskstaple It is not a bug or a glitch it is just a change done in some version on how tabs behave and work.

Since it was not reverted so far I assume the changes were made on purpose or were a side effect of some other changes but deemed OK and not a bug. It is beyond me why. The behavior of tabs is quite universal in all chromium based browsers and I would expect Opera to not degrade with time on such basic features.

With the latest Opera updates tabs got even more unusable for tablet users, since the close button of a tab only appears on mouser hover.

I currently encounter the same "problem". Also thought It does not work but after reading it here also realize that you have to drop the tab left of the "+" button. This seems to be a recent change and I really dislike it and it is not at all intuitive. I do not want to be precise when just moving a tab from one window to the next.

It it generally a bit unresponsive with a noticeable delay before the dragged tabs "docks" into the tab bar. So it takes a bit and now you actually have to "think" about where to put it since it depends on the number of tabs open.

I got used to the slight delay but this now is feeling very bad from a user experience point of view. If people actually ask if the feature is broken, while it is not, you know you designed something not intuitive.

I still don't want to believe this is actually intended since it is such a bad design. So hope it will be fixed in the future.

It only happens with Opera Ablocker enabled so the bug is realted to the AdBlocker.

SoundCloud Button is an opera extension.

This is possible in the stable version but not in the deveolper version, in the devoloper version adding shortcuts for extensions just don't seem to work.

I have a problem with the "Shortcuts".
I installed the SoundCloudButton (https://addons.opera.com/de/extensions/details/soundcloud-button/?display=en) and i wanted to change the Shortcuts because i don't have the default buttons on my keyboard.

I wanted to chane it to "Ctlr+Shit+1" and it did not work and it seems like i can not add shortcuts at ll to extension.
For Opera Browser features like "New Tab"/"Dev Console" ... i can add shortcuts with no prolem.
I also tried it in the stable version and it worked.

Is this a bug or just something normal in the opera devolper version ?

Also Opera devolper can be unstable, you can try the normal or beta version and maybe report if it doesn't work there either

Is there or will be there a way so i can see only my custom RSS feed on "Speed dial" and also get a desktop notification or something if there is a new article for example.
Maybe make it so that you can toggle it for evey custom RSS source, if you want a notification if there is something new.

My Tabs going "mad" with the new versions, first opera just crashed if you wanted to drag and drop a tab,that was loading, and create a new window.

Now if i close a tab between, that is 2 other tabs, all the tab expands to double the size and then they go back to normal after a few seconds, if you don't interact with them.
