I've been trying to figure this out too. Is it really delivered with updates? I swear it's happened twice since the last time Opera updated.

Windows 10 - desktop notifications don't workOpera for Windows
If I try to use desktop notifications in Opera, on tweetdeck.com for instance, I get a single notification and nothing further. Restarting the browser again lets me receive just a single notification. Does anyone know what might be causing this or how to fix it?
Edit: I'm using the latest Opera 31

RE: Twitch videos have "Flash out of date"Opera for Windows
It seems to do this if you have the NPAPI (Firefox) version of Flash installed rather than the PPAPI (Chromium) version of Flash installed. It's rather unfortunate since the PPAPI version causes problems with Steam's browser.
If it's giving you trouble with both versions installed, there's an option in opera://flags to completely disable NPAPI support.

RE: movie files won't play in OperaOpera for Windows
Turn off the option to click to play plugin content under the Websites section in Settings. It breaks quite a few video players, including IMDB's.

RE: MSE + h264 in Opera 29 not working on YoutubeOpera for Windows
It says in the title Opera 29. I was reading reports of people using the Opera 29 beta a couple weeks ago with this feature enabled and no problems on Youtube, but it's possible they were only looking at the html5 feature test page. I suppose I can wait another month if the feature isn't finished yet.

MSE + h264 in Opera 29 not working on YoutubeOpera for Windows
I've been looking forward to Opera adding support for this, but now that it's here I can't get it to work. When I enable the feature, Youtube just gives me the generic "An error has occurred. Please try again later." When I turn MSE + h264 support off, Youtube works again but I can't view videos in 1080p. Youtube's html5 test page shows all features available when the option is on.
I have verified that playback of proprietary media types is enabled and I have an h264 codec installed. Am I missing something?
