@burnout426 I'm using a webm file for the video.

RE: Custom Animated WallpaperOpera for Windows
The method itself doesn't seem to have any issues, tested in a standalone instance of Opera GX. Thank you all for your time.

RE: Custom Animated WallpaperOpera for Windows
@unknown-variable The method posted by burnout a while back in the thread works just fine. It just takes some time for the wallpapers to show up in the browser after its done. Mine waited like a day at first (for reasons I don't understand, honestly.) As far as converting, you can just google mp4 to webm and most of the sites will do a fine job. It seems like you've been trying to use webp, which is just the wrong file type, and would explain your issues getting it to work. Anyone interested in the wizarding school method of converting files should look into ffmpeg.

RE: Custom Animated WallpaperOpera for Windows
@burnout426 Yep, they're all in the root of the .zip, and not a folder. Still, no dice :p
@sgunhouse I'm sorry, I'm not exactly sure what you meant. I archived only the folder that the three files were inside of. Should I have gone a step above in the directory?
Thank you both for taking the time to reply to me.

RE: Custom Animated WallpaperOpera for Windows
@burnout426 Hey there. I saw your replies in this thread, and another similar thread. They really do seem to be helpful and well informed, so I think I'm doing something wrong on my end. If you have the time, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could help me figure out why I haven't been able to get the results I want.
I'm using the latest version of Opera GX (updated on the day I post this, June 2nd). Whenever I try to load in the wallpaper archive, literally nothing happens. The file explorer closes when I click to open the file, but the browser itself doesn't seem to have any desire to recognize it.My process is as follows, if that may shed any light on this.
I downloaded the animated wallpaper with the waterfall. I extracted the files in its zip to my desktop, and created a new folder. I put in my video, and thumbnail, both renamed to fit the files in the waterfall wallpaper. I created a persona.ini file within the folder, and made the text match that of the waterfall video, with changes made to the "Name" "Author" and "Version" sections. If there's any way anyone can help me, then I'd greatly appreciate it if you did. If there's not, then thank you for taking the time to read this post.
