not sure which one was the update and which one ALT+Mouse to close tabs. There is one thing interesting. Closing tabs with middle mouse button works without any crashes and does almost the same.

Hi, so Opera still crashes sometimes after you close tabs with ALT+MOUSE button. The worst thing is, that after crash or even after update (last update) Opera forgets islands in other contexts. The context 1 (default) is OK. That isa frustrating, after every update or almost crash I have to recreate all island in my contexts...

@opera-qa-team: too soon but crashed just once in one day, so its an improvement: CrashID=bp-3dce454b-829a-4fd7-bdf4-4a28c0251030

@eduararley: if you mean open higlighted URL, its alt+ctrl+enter or simply ALTGR+enter

hm, finally with v. 123 after few years I do not have crashes after ALT + mouse click (close tab), hope it will hold since it has been installed only few hours. I also moved Opera from user to all users installation. So if anyone had same issue...

@mjugen: hm... too soon, still getitng crashes

Flow still not connecting, tried everything besides uninstalling apps (and I wont).

@mjugen: So I was thinking... when this started and If I remember correctly, it stared with the table emoticons so I disabled them and no single crash in days after ALT+LMOUSE button to close tabs!

Sorry to say, but Opera still crashes with ALT+Mouse Click to close tabs. Not every time, not so often as before, but still... still frustrating...

got version 2025.1.0 in Opera, here is 2025.1.2 force update doesnt work

@hexxangst I have different bug with this popup - sometimes it does not show for like a minute or so... after that is works like a charm

It would be really great to be able to close tabs with ALT+mouse once again (mostly on notebooks)

Not stable, still sometimes crash when closing tab and using islands (alt+Lmouse or ctrl+W); if no islands are used, then there is no crash

just found out, if you do not use any island, there are no crashes after closing any tabs... if you use just one island, opera stops working on closing tab... please fix it
