If somebody uses full mouse gestures that were available in earlier versions of Opera like v 12 will realize that not all mouse gestures are available in modern opera.
I request that Opera people should take this as a request and should add all the mouse gestures that were available in the earlier versions of opera.
Hi Miniramleela, it's known issue in this build: "opera:extensions and opera:plugins are blank" (it's fixed internally by the Developers), the fix should be added in the further build. In the meantime, you can try the SimpleExtManager extension, as a temporary workaround for this problem.

Just as the title says, I don't know how but when I press Ctrl+Shift+E it does not show a single extension whereas I have 22 extensions installed.
I am using a Windows 7 64 bit PC with Opera 22.0.1460.0 running on it.

I have almost 22 extensions installed in Opera and I wanted to go for more of those extensions but now I am not able to see the extension icon in the toolbar.
Is there any way by which I can extend it to say like 2 - line toolbar or something that will create a room for more of extension icons?

Opera Version: 21.0.1432.31
@dvk-ru1: I doubt that it would not be that helpful, if its a feature, there should be a setting to turn that thing off because it really irritates me.

Since 2 days I am noticing some strange issue with Opera. It does not get the focus when using Alt-tab sequence and that is so irritating. I want to switch from notepad to opera using alt-tab but Opera does not focus instead I have to minimize every other window to get focus on Opera.
Has anybody encountered the same problem and if yes is there any solution?
So can you give me a solution because I have not installed it, I have used the USB install option for it, I want to keep my previous settings?
I am missing the opera gesture (in Opera 21) where in you swipe the mouse in the right direction with right mouse button clicked to go to the next page. And even though the next page is not in history ie. if you are searching google and you do that gesture you directly go to page number 2 and so on..
Can we expect to get that feature in future releases of Opera 21..
Old Opera may become obsolete after a year or two, but what do you project the new Opera to be then ??

Now that Opera has Opera blink in it and there is no way of getting away with it. I would like to know whether the things that were implemented in Presto can they be implemented in Blink as well, by that I mean programmatically .
Atleast I can then hope that I would get all (or most of the) Opera 12.16 features maybe years later....

I think people who love Opera 12.16 have lost all the hope as Opera software team does not seem to take steps that look promising towards building better Opera.. So I thought let's think differently about this. What are the features because of which should we change to new Opera versions and with some new standards how long can we use Opera 12.16 smoothly.
So basically the simple question would be, should we upgrade? is there a necessity for upgrade? how long can we stay without being upgraded?

I was wondering that can't we have something like Presto and Blink combined? I am not a coder so this may not make sense but still can this be done so that Bink people will be happy as well as Presto people and besides we will get best of both worlds??
For us users, Opera Blink OR Opera Presto does not matter and does not make any difference either, what matters is functionality and we are more interested in it. The old opera and good features. I should not feel like its just another chrome being copied, its identity should remain as it is, opera should be looked upon as a different browser and not a mere copy of chrome. Opera had its identity before but its losing and that's the sad part of it these days.

I am really unhappy with what opera has done by changing itself into everything like chrome. It really disappointed me from the very first time Opera tried to go into this chrome thing.
Ok. But now that you have made your decision to go for completely the chrome style. What we expect is at-least some time ahead in future will you make your new chromium opera browser same as your old opera? With all the advanced configurations, extended speed bar and all the very good things that I like in opera or are they gone forever. Is there any hope for us people stuck using (unfortunately degrading their browser versions to 12.16 Opera).
Seriously I don't care what the underlying logic or code is, end result is that the functionality should be maintained nothing else. Really I am left with no hope and I would really hate to switch to any other browser (that would be a compromise and never a decision).
