Thanks Lando242 for the suggestion. I will copy and paste it to an offline file for future reference. Oddly and thankfully, Gmail loaded successfully tonight in the standard way. I have no explanations for this unless it was something in my cache or a background application or process that was in the way. Everything OK now.

Had problem not being able to open my Gmail in Opera 32 on laptop with Windows 7. It was working well until a few days ago (approx Oct.11, 2015) and then when signing into Gmail, the page-load showing the progress bar of while downloading my personal inbox just all of a sudden hung and would not deliver the inbox. I tried again and again with same failure. I could open the old HTML format and see my gmail in this way, but the standard view would not load. So I uninstalled Opera and just now (Oct. 14) reinstalled it - because I really like Opera when it works. The same thing happened. Gmail hangs when loading. Anyone else seeing this? Any ideas or fixes? Thank you in advance for any replies.

Just installed Opera 32 last night. Problem I'm having is accesssing the internet when using the local college library's server and "guest" wireless access point. Normally when opening other browsers (IE, Chrome, Firefox, etc.) via this college's wireless access point location there is a user agreement from the college that opens up, which when agreed to allows internet access. Opera 32 does not even allow the user agreement to come up, hence no internet connection. Is this about certificates?... Please let me know if there is a way to get Opera to recognize the University's server. For now I have to use a different browser to establish a connection and then open Opera - which is a pain. Any ideas? Thanks.

With this Opera 29.0 browser I cannot hear the 30 second song file samples withing Amazon.com I think I used to be able to with this browser but have to use FireFox or Chrome for Amazon digital music. Any ideas? Using Win 7 32 bit op system. Thanks.
