opera mini can't download videos from you tube,i think you might have downloaded them from another site like save from.net, if you download from this site in hd (1080p)then you have to separately download audio , it is not opera it is that site from where you have downloaded video.

I just hope that power usage is less than ie and uc, if it is so this will be my default browser from now. need some time to examine.

what is the problem with Microsoft. com site? why doesn't it open in opera mini? every time i try to open any webpage it says client side offered to save a picture! please update opera for windows phone asap it has several other bugs.

I am from India, and here I buy a plan with 1.5 GB data + unlimited facebook from my operator.
So with this plan when I use opera mini I get unlimited data, No matter what I download it never costs me nor the data gets deducted from my account. It might be a error with my operator. but it works only in opera mini. otherwise data gets deducted.

So, Now I want to know how opera mini connects to internet.. I mean the server it use and other settings so that I can try to get free internet in pc aswell.
can you tell me server and other information used in Opera mini ?

There is no opera next for OM 4.5
and opera with all certificates doesn't work ... But the one without works fine.. Just need permission everytime I start it.

@sagrid full screen edit is always on in OM 4.5 but still doesn't work.
So now i have downloaded same version from an untrusted site and it works in it, only the official version have this bug that even without any update.
I think they changed the source code but didn't changed the version number.

I was having problem with my opera mini so I just thought of Reinstalling. I removed previous version and all data related to it and reinstalled.
But after update I can't use dictionary (t9 dictionary) in text field;that is used to write faster in feature phones without tapping repeating keys for every single word.
Now I've to press keys several times for writing words. For example if I want to write 's' I've press '7' key four times, that is a lot of work.
Before reinstalling this feature was only disabled in address bar only (that was right because no dictionary can predict website address). But now I can use it only in 1-2% of text fields I've used.
Please have a look in this matter.

It's enabled in opera://plugins right? Where do you receive that message saying Flash is outdated?
Check whether plug-ins are set to run automatically in Opera Settings - Websites in the sidebar.
Try disabling Opera Turbo from the main menu.

it is happening on facebook. I can't watch fb videos.

I have updated flash to latest pepper version 16.0.0.296 but still opera says your flash is out of date. What do I need to do now ?

Opera connects to extension update server and keep downloading data. Opera have four or more connections anytime of the day to the extension update server and every connection download at least 500-600kb or more then it disconnects and new connect appears from nowhere. this way opera downloads more than 150 Mbs of data even if there are no updates available. I have only 20 extensions installed still data used to update extensions is very high and that too on daily basis. Please see this in the picture below.

This happened with Opera version 26 and now with 27 too. What could be the reason ?
This way a lot of data is wasted ... I only browse 40-50Mbs only daily rest is in vain.

Opera always uses the cache expire settings which are sent by the server. Cant be changed.

so does that mean it is wise to delete Opera cache after a week or so? or Opera delete them automatically ?

This happens many times, when I visit a web page some images on the same page are loaded through Opera servers (Opera Turbo) and others are loaded uncompressed. And I am not talking about .png images I know they are not compressed to preserve the transparency in them (.jpg, .jpeg only) . This increases the page loading time since I am on a slow internet connection.
and I think this happens with large images.. because most of the time they are uncompressed. Is Opera programmed to leave bigger images as it is to save cost on servers etc. ??

I am just curious, for how long opera keep cached files. Will opera use same cached files of a site which I have opened one month ago ?
Is it possible to increase or decrease this time ?

I have something for you, better than chrome's Incognito and opera's private mode.
You just need to install this extension and next time you want your browser to note to record history just click on extension's icon in toolbar.

Same problem here... I've more than 25 feeds from various sites.

is the error everytime I want to connect opera mini feeds.
