The new version of Opera promotes a new ad blocker — it says ‘no ads in videos.’
The paradox is that the old ad blocker used to work on YouTube and ads were hardly shown at all. But with the new version of Opera and the new ad blocker, no video even starts playing, and you have to disable the ad blocker to make YouTube usable.

I don’t understand this step backwards. And on top of that, it’s being promoted as a new feature.

Or am I doing something wrong somewhere?

I have the same problem, YT changed some regulations regarding adblockers. I turned the adblocker off, YT still doesn't let me watch any videos.

the problem appears when you open a YT video in a new tab
or you are coming from another site that links to the YT video

it seems that it has improved since version 103.0.4928.16

I have the same problem, changing images for bookmarks does not work at all, even if I choose a different preview, it always changes to a page icon

please fix it

In Opera One i have problem with selecting picture-thumbnail when adding a page to bookmarks ( or editing bookmark picture )

• sometimes I can't select a picture at all and arrows are disabled ( i see only grey picture )
• sometimes i select screenshot of webpage witch I need but saved is only logo ( no editing help )
• sometimes works fine ( but rarely )

it's been going on long enough, it was a step back

in older versions of opera, the snapshot worked brilliantly: the selection field could be dragged down and the page scrolled.

this way it was possible to take a snapshot of any long area from the page

now it is possible to mark the area for the snapshot only from the visible part of the page, why??

sometimes the article or content you want to snapshot is longer

it was a great feature, I don't understand why it was cancelled

whenever I tried to make a snapshot larger than the visible screen part , the snapshot was without background
