I had the same issue since last windows 10 updates.
After some updates, all windows slow up during a few days. Not this time. Only opera was slow.
Unusable with every web sites, even in settings, etc ...
I only switch off opera ad blocker and power saving, close opera (without cleaning) and reopen opera and switch on both ad blocker and power saving.
Works fine for me.
Please change back to Facebook Classic for Opera
