A little more information might be needed such as which device you are using. Perhaps submit a formal bug report so that the developers have a little more information to work with.
Opera Mini is working fine here on both an iPhone SE and 6S Plus which both updated to iOS 11 without any noticeable problems.

Both worked fine before update.

Cause of Crash: The developers did not update the app to 64-Bit Architecture, which is NOW REQUIRED IN APPLE PRODUCTS as 32-Bit was dropped in this update.

The app can’t even be opened! Update it ASAP!

Its just like every other app-they want to look like chrome so bad that they ignore feedback.

Ducky, although it's not a full solution, what I did to get the news off the start page was to create endless quicklinks of google's homepage until I couldnt see them anymore.

Agreed completely. This update was bad. Seems like everyone wants their mobile browsers to look like Chrome these days.

I forgot to note, I liked the Dark Style everything had, now it's all stark white, even the bookmarks menu! Change it back, or add a old style theme!

This update is HORRIBLE.

You've crammed the main screen with news I don't care about and squished my quick links into a TINY space!
I LIKED the sleek, grayish silver colors of the app! This White/Red setup makes it look like every other app out there!
Put the news where I didnt care about it before v16, in it's own page!
Put my quick links where they were before v16!
Stop changing everything without consulting your users!

I think I've determined two possible sources of the crashing, both related to the change to display margins in iOS 10.3:

1. The site I read Fanfiction at, Fanfiction.net, has added an animated advertisement on several of it's pages. This ad interferes with the app in several ways, one of them being any drop-down menus are immediately closed while the ad is playing.

2. As I stated earlier, iOS 10.3 changed the display margins for page views, which caused a significant number of apps to not function properly until they were updated.

As an avid fanfiction reader, I need the bookmarks to avoid the garbage that permeates the sites.

No, because I have no idea if mini would truly preserve my 1300+ bookmarks.

As the title says, Opera Mini has a habit of crashing on iOS 10.3.1. I dont know what causes it, but it seems to happen if it's active for around 30 minutes.

This is on an iPhone 6S.

I had no issues with Opera Mini before the iOS update.

I don't understand how just putting your phone down could cause Opera Mini to reload the page. It doesn't happen to me. I could see where switching to a different app and switching back might if your phone Java heap is too small to hold both apps but setting the down isn't going to do anything.

By setting down, I mean if I had to change apps for another reason, such as doing some research on something in Safari, calling someone, etc.

Link has not worked for me in months. It's always empty, and there is no option to sync my bookmarks on mini 8.

When I first started using Opera Mini, there were several features, that were removed from this BAD version that were of great appreciation:

1-Resuming where I left off. I read alot of FanFiction, and on occasion I have to put my phone down, or do something else. In the old version, Opera Mini would reload right where I left off. In the BAD update, it refreshes every page, just like Safari. I HATE Safari because of that feature. Some chapters in fanfiction can be around 20,000 words, and having to find where I left off in the refreshed page is a joke.

2-Opera Link. I am not stupid. You deliberately disabled link in Mini 8 to keep us from changing browsers. I want it restored, as I have over 100 bookmarks on Mini 8 that I want to transfer to another browser.

3-The look. This was another bad call. The old look was fine. It had everything in a neat arrangement, and then you go and change it into "Safari lookalike #124814". Change it back, and maybe I'll still use it.
