same happened to me a while ago. i had lots of things saved in there, and now, it suddenly vanished.
it happened after i reinstalled my computer's operational system. i thought it was being saved on my account data or something, but appearently not

@biske bro u just saved me. apparently opera is just not redirecting the user to the right link, so the user cannot check the matching code. i just typed the link you posted and it magically sent me to a page with the verification code, so i just checked it and it worked! thanx a lot my man.

I would like to see a resource wich would allow the users of both opera gx or opera to use their tabs bar on the bottom of the screen instead of the top. It would also be cool if there was an option to put the tabs bar in the sides of the screen such as Vivaldi or Arc browser
