I would like to bring to the kind attention of Opera Development/Support team that in Reddit browsers sub, there is a feel that GX version of the browser might be having some security vulnerability causing some unnecessary NSFW links being written in its profile.

I have Opera on Windows and Linux but it is the standard browser. It is not affected. I do not have a GX to test the same and hence would like to table the discussion on Reddit to Opera's kind attention..
@vbnvbn How are other browsers on the same platform able to manage and run the show seamlessly?
I recently observed both in Windows and Linux that a fresh install of Opera One browser the Ad and Tracker blocking remains disabled unless we have them enabled them through Settings.
Can this behavior be amended for Default: Block for both the options?
In Windows I have been observing that whenever we install Opera One browser and/or it is updated and restarted a vertical splash pops up and a melody is played. However we are missing this feature in Opera for Linux.
Can Opera Team look into the same and fill up this missing piece for Linux fraternity?
This is a follow-up of the post (https://forums.opera.com/topic/65303/video-and-opera-does-not-seem-to-be-going-good-on-linux-mint/11) and I actually used the command
sudo apt-get purge oper*
Despite this I saw the following residual folders in my home director (.cache and .config). i had to manually remove them to ensure a newer installation of opera has a cleaner working environment.
Hope Opera Team takes note of this issue too.
@mochica I tried this route and Opera totally started crashing its tabs.
@myswtest No. Opera was installed using the following command
sudo apt-get install opera-stable
These were the package sources configured to enable the abovesaid updates.
deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/opera.gpg] https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free
deb https://deb.opera.com/opera-stable/ stable non-free #Opera Browser (final releases)
I guess these are the same when we download the .DEB and run through package manager which the DEB will use internally.
@myswtest By native, did you mean downloading the .DEB file and running it through package manager?
I recently switched to Linux Mint from Windows 11. Facing the following issues with Opera not able to play videos on Twitter or Facebook. Interestingly I guess Youtube is able to manage the show though.
Tried these and after reboot Opera itself does not launch. Had to purge opera totally and reinstall again.

The Opera One Browser seems to be really good and appealing.
During the first launch the startup gives a nice music. Is there a way we can have it to play the same on every launch?

Yep. I got it in the following folder
%appdata%/Opera Software/Opera Stable
Is it fine to delete or modify this file? Or do we need to override these settings elsewhere?
Recently did a clean up of my computer and Opera loaded with a fresh environment. I found the following tiles being loaded in the start page. Am just curious what influences the browser to decide the particular website shortcuts to be placed in the startup tab.
Because with the current presentation none of these websites are my preferred and/or recently visited ones?
Is this any malware issue?
The browsing speed has become extremely slow. Opera settings page itself loading blank

Can Opera Development Team consider implementing a Lock Tab feature so that locked tabs can not be inadvertently closed without an explicit user confirmation (or unless the tab is unlocked first).
Business Case:
I just enabled the AI Prompts that appeared as part of the newest release of Opera.
The prompts as shown below are trying to open the appropriate application in the sidebar but do not seem to be working.

A week ago some of the videos appeared hazy and blurry on YouTube. I had reported the same to their support. Some videos were fine. Hence temporarily presumed it could be a problem in the video codec.
