My ISP asked me to use a different browser on a login problem, so I am trying Opera. To my surprise, I keep seeing "chrome" pop up on the url line when going to the opera config, etc. The idea of running a browser program on my computer that was written by a company that collects and sells information, is (I am sorry, I cannot think of a polite word that describes someone doing that). I thought Opera had nothing to do with Chrome. On the screen when I enter a url, a google search window is there which integrates with my search, without being asked. Nothing that I found in config allows me t adjust that.
