I checked the update today and tried to update it, but Opera just repeat the update process, but won't update at all.
The symptom is simple. The followings are the procedure:

1. Checked Update & Recovery
2. Opera checked the new update and asked me to re-launch for update
3. Re-launched it, but it stays with the old version -> Return to no. 2
4. Infinite loop

Since I updated Opera recently, I found the interface has changed completely and it is...ugly to be honest. I'm sorry.
Could you give us an option to change the interface, please? I prefer the previous one much more. Simple, sleek and easy to navigate.

I just woke up and turned on my computer and noticed Opera was updated overnight. It won't play Youtube again !
I don't understand the developer why they always make mess every time they update it. Dang!

Since last update, Opera GX popup shows up at the left top corner and it's super annoying. Opera is getting worse since the Chinese company took over it.
How to get rid of it completely?

I found a solution. I just uninstalled and re-installed a new version, and everything is fine now. It happens occasionally and gives me hassle to do that. Opera developers need to fix this issue. Chrome and Firefox don't have this issue at all.

@l33t4opera The sync function has been nothing wrong with me until I update the current build. If the sync function doesn't work properly, it is pointless to be exist in Opera.

@jgthobe I've been back to Chrome and am writing this post with it. Opera has been great, but the developers have given us some weird updates several times and the current update is the worst ever.

Since I updated this afternoon, Opera freezes after a minute. The worst update ever.

It was fine yesterday and it suddenly won't play any videos from this morning. Does anybody have the same issue?

I have the exactly the same issue. I am wondering what their intention is.
