How do you update Ublock installed on opera from from the github?

Update 98.0.4759.15, changed the background color of tiles that contain multiple sites and the search box no longer accepts paste from the clipboard. What gives?

No icon on taskbar to open extension and no instructions on how to use it. Not going to spend the rest of the day trying to figure it out;.

After re-installing Opera, Yahoo is now the search engine on the start page, changing the default search engine in Settings has no effect. What's up?

How can I uninstall wallpapers?

The speeddial entries may be stored there, but the file appears to be progamming language. No matter, I just manually copied all the websites and put them in a notepad file. I'm reinstalling the OS system, it's easier in the long run than trying to follow a thousand suggestions. Just thought there would be an easier way to list the speeddial sites.

The problem is in Opera because it doesn't occur when using Edge. All i need to know is how to get a list of the Speed Dial sites so that when I do a reinstall I can reassemble the Speed Deal start page.

Open tabs will change to another cite, usually prono or advertisements. This seems to be a common problem and is a virus from what I can tell by searching for answers. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that most "solutions" on the Google search are themselves vehicles for installing viruses, etc. If I could find a way to save only the URL's of the cites on my speed dial, I would just reinstall opera. I tried reinstalling opera and first saving the folder "Opera Stable" and replacing the new "Opera Stable" with the saved version, but the problem persisted.

Opera has started redirecting to cites other than what's on the speed dial. I've erased the cookies and history file but it still does it. Anyone have a fix?

After upgrading to 47.0.2631.55 (PGO), the microphone no longer works with the Midomi.com website. I went to Opera Settings>Websites>Microphone and set the mic to Default, Ask me, and Midomi was listed under Manage exceptions to Allow. After trying different things, none of which worked, I clicked Disallow on the Midomi site and now it's blank. Everything worked fine until the upgrade a few hours ago. Is there a way to revert back to the pre-upgrade version until they can get this bug fixed. Can't find where to download the previous version at the Opera web-page.

Rather, how do I hide and unhide the sidebar; I don't care whether it's disabled.

Is there a way to enable speech recognition for the Google search engine in Opera so that it works similar to the Google search engine on my Android phone, i.e., can it I talk to the search engine on my PC?

Have been using Opera Beta and today the "+" for adding and entry to the Speed Dial page stopped responding. So I installed Opera Stable and copied all files from the "Roaming/Opera Next" to "Roaming/Opera Stable" and the add entry works in Opera Stable. Any one know what's going on?

I just installed Opera Beta and want to have that Startup window the same as my Opera Stable Startup window. Usually when I do a reinstall of Opera I can save the Opera Stable file listed under Profile and copy that to the new installation and I'm right where I started. But Opera Beta has a different file folder name.

How do you enable vpn in opera, they've been touting it all over facebook but there's not mention of how to implement it. Well, there might be a mention but if there is it's buried in the mountain of sales pitch crap and I don't have the patience to spend the hours or days necessary to dig it out.

I went to About Opera, found the path to the "Opera Stable" folder and copied the entire folder to the same location in another computer running Opera. The app now seems identical between the two computers so I infer that if I do a clean install and then copy that same folder to the new install it will reflect the original.

I've recently enabled Sync between my HP Elitebook and HP Starwars computers. However, I don't see anything happening with respect to the Speed Dial page. In fact, the Elitebook search engine is now defaulting to Yahoo although I've tried to force it to go back to Google. Also, just exactly where is the profile folder: so what I get is that I same this file, the bookmarks file, then after a clean install of the os and Opera, copy the bookmarks file to the same location then my Speed Dial page will be the same as it was before the re-install? I have about 75 sites in different "folders" on the Speed Dial and it's this feature of Opera that makes me use this browser exclusively. But it's a pain in the ass to re-build after doing the occasional clean os install.
