Hi,
Yes, I faced a similar issue before. To automatically clear history, cache, and keep selected cookies every time I closed the browser, I found a solution.
I used a browser extension called "Click&Clean." It allowed me to customize the cleaning settings and set it to automatically clear the desired data upon closing the browser.
This way, I didn't have to manually clear the data every time. It provided the convenience I was looking for, just like Microsoft Edge's feature. I hope it is helpful and you like this one!
Best regard,

RE: Recovering PasswordOpera for Mac
Hi,
As a user, I encountered a similar issue where my password was not displayed in the password section of Opera settings, despite logging in and seeing my email address upon clicking "continue."
To solve this problem, I followed these steps:- Opened the Opera browser.
- Clicked on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
- Selected "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- In the settings menu, click on "Advanced" on the left sidebar.
- Scrolled down to the "Privacy & Security" section.
- Clicked on "Clear browsing data."
- Chose "All time" as the time range and checked the box next to "Passwords."
- Clicked on the "Clear data" button.
After performing these steps, I closed and reopened Opera.
Upon logging in again, I checked the password section in the settings, and this time my password appeared as expected. Hope it is working for you!

RE: Problem with synchro on new computerOpera for Mac
Hi Kinga, hope you are doing well!
I encountered the same issues with synchronization on Opera.
To resolve the problem with passwords not synchronizing and not importing from a CSV file, I followed these steps:- Ensure that you are logged in to Opera on both your old and new computers.
- Go to Settings in Opera on your old computer and verify that password synchronization is enabled.
- Export your passwords from the old computer as a CSV file.
- On your new computer, also make sure that password synchronization is enabled in Opera's Settings.
- Import the CSV file containing your passwords into Opera on the new computer.
Regarding the cookie acceptance problem, here's how I solved it: - Make sure that you have enabled cookies in Opera's Settings on both computers.
- Clear the cookies and browsing data on both your old and new computers.
- Restart Opera on both devices.
- When you visit websites, accept the cookies prompt once again.
- Check if the websites still ask for cookie acceptance upon subsequent visits.
By following these steps, I was able to resolve the synchronization issues with passwords and the recurring cookie acceptance requests. Hope it is helpful for you.
