Yes - this little bug is surprisingly annoying if you are used to the address bar having focus - you type something in, but when you check there's nothing there.

Page load progress in address barSuggestions and feature requests
I was playing around with the Vivaldi browser and one feature I like very much that used to be a part of the Opera browser is page loading information in the address bar - where it shows how much of the page is loaded, how many elements, and the page size.
It would be good if there was something similar in Opera. I don't suppose anyone knows of an extension that does this?
Disable for VPN for selected sitesSuggestions and feature requests
I'd find it useful if it were possible to automatically turn off vpn when connecting to user-selected sites. For some it can be a real pain if you accidentally connect using VPN and then have to go through 2 factor authentication or reset your password because it looks like you are in another country. E.g. Google, Amazon.
Cheers! Merry Christmas!
Where is the sync history from other devicesSynchronization
Hi - I have a couple of laptops and a opera mobile Android that I am trying to sync. So far the bookmarks from the two laptops are available from each other. Where would I expect to see the history from other devices - when I look under history on one of the devices, I just see the browsing history of the that device.
RE: tab click switchingOpera for Windows
This is not a problem as only active tab clicked navigates to the top.
Right - my mistake. I'm having a problem with my mouse which is double-clicking rather than single-clicking unless I press very quickly. Thanks for your reply.
Disable on Exit scriptsSuggestions and feature requests
One of my pet hates while browsing is the pop up box that appears just as you are about to leave the page - perhaps because the cursor has left the window - usually asking you if you would like to subscribe to some newsletter. I'd love to disable these permanently. Likewise, the are you sure you want to exit dialog boxes when you try to close a page. And the overlay ads you have to close before you can read website content. I'd love to see a feature where it is possible to disable some of these new-style pop-ups.
RE: Disable on Exit scriptsSuggestions and feature requests
No - it's not malware. As an example on Morrisons supermarket site this morning https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/startWebshop.do , after looking at a product and moving the cursor out of the web page window there was a pop up that offers to save me money if I spend 80 pounds. It grabs your attention, which is good for them, but irritating for someone that doesn't want to be distracted.
I take your point on the onexit scripts for saving docs, which makes it tricky to do away with altogether.
