If I remember correctly the sync is going to land at the same time as bookmarks as they go hand in hand well. As for now bookmark manager etc is in beta and developer builds and things are meant to not work perfectly there as that's where we mainly find most important bugs. But as the new bookmark manager is already in Beta, means that it's soon to be ready to go stable

RE: Opera next 25 beta problems ?Opera for Windows
Yep, seems it might be related to a problem with java, but as long as it works in 24 you'll survive for now
Java problems are pretty high prioritized so it will be fixed soon I believe

Looks like someone else had the same problem with Netflix, I'll look into it.

RE: Opera next 25 beta problems ?Opera for Windows
In another perspective:
Developer is where we add new stuff
Next is where we fix everything that's not working with the new stuff
Stable is the final product. -
RE: Opera next 25 beta problems ?Opera for Windows
The final browser is Opera Stable. Which is 24 now. When the Beta(Next) build is finished (It's 25 now), it will move on to Stable and overtake the Developer version. It might be a little hard to understand, but Stable changes to 25, then Beta changes to 26 and Developer becomes 27. 24 is then gone. So in a little current beta will be the Stable version

RE: Is opera browser latest version better than Google Chrome or Safari?Opera for Windows
As in performance you can run a benchmark for it and find out Opera and Chrome are about equal while Safari is so far worse that you don't even want to think about using that browser. Away from that I guess Opera and Chrome win over each other in different areas and the best thing to do is probably pick the browser you think suits you the best.

RE: Bug Report Opera24 - open context menu taking long timeOpera for Windows
For me it works fine with the same version and OS. Next time you have a bug you should post it in Opera's BTS (bug tracking system) here: https://bugs.opera.com/wizarddesktop/
Part from that I think this is a you only problem as I haven't seen any other bug reports with the same issues and neither do I have it myself. -
RE: Opera cannot be found among the default apps for HTMLOpera for Windows
That is really weird... Should be back if you reinstall O12 tho, but it might be a pain in the arse to do

RE: Opera next 25 beta problems ?Opera for Windows
You can choose to use the new or the old speed dial at the moment
I think this was a silent update, where you'd get it next time you restarted Opera. As there is no longer a "Next" version of Opera they changed it to Beta for everyone.

RE: Opera Mini beta for Windows Phone - ready for testingOther phones
Everyone who haven't noticed yet, it was a fault with the first beta version which caused crash on startup for 90%+ of people using it. It has been fixed, all you need to do is go back to the email, click the link to the app and press the "Update" button so you'll get the fixed version. Keep in mind that this is a beta, it's slow and a million things will change before this is final. Most important thing right now is that it's working and as you guys beta test it we would love all the feedback you guys can give us.

RE: HiDPI problemOpera for Windows
You could try to see if any of the current HiDPI flags can help under: opera://flags/ (Just search for HiDPI and the ones concerning it should show.)
If not there is definitely a fix for it being made as we speak. -
RE: newbie helpOpera for Windows
I think you can change in windows what "standard programs" you want to use for different types of files. Then when you have downloaded a file with Opera, it should be opened with that program.
Only way I can think of at least, might not work, but I'd give it a try. -
RE: Any plans for Selenium support ??Future releases
Even if I actually knew something about this I wouldn't be allowed to tell you. You will get your answer if a public announcement about this is made. If not you just have to hope in the meantime

RE: How do I report a translation mistake?Opera for Windows
You should post a bug report about it so it gets sent to the right people. Here they may not see it and I can't CC the right people.

RE: getting startedOpera for Windows
- Yes you can have a toolbar w/bookmarks. This can be activated under opera://flags where you can search for "bookmarks"
- Setting home pages and search engines can be done in opera://settings. Here you just have to read a little about how Operas search engine in the URL bar works etc.
Hope this helps

We have a "half" open bug tracker where the most active members of our forums gets access to see bugs and comment.

RE: Failed loading launcher_lib.dll. Please, reinstall Opera.Future releases
I've seen many bug reports about this issue. You guys need to completely uninstall the opera version, then reinstall a new version. This is because a .dll file has been broken.

RE: new opera since v12 is rude wayFuture releases
You're free to continue using 12, only thing is that it isn't being developed any further.

RE: Opera does not work on google pagesFuture releases
All I had to do was to restart Opera so a new patch would be applied. But since it has been lasting so long for you I would try reinstall Opera if you haven't before. If not that works it might be related to another program on your computer such as flash player etc. So I would just check what kind of stuff you got on your computer and update everything that is outdated.
