i've been wondering about this, too. some videos can only be viewed in 720p in the html5 player, while on chrome, the same video can be viewed in 1080p. and some videos can even go up to 4k resolution. but the max in opera right now is 720p for h.264 encoded youtube videos. will we be able to get full support for the html5 player in opera?

right now, i can only view 720p on most videos using the html5 player on youtube. if i use flash player, i can get 1080p, but i don't get to adjust the playback speed. will opera ever get 1080p video on youtube using the html5 player?
