will we ever get 1080p video in the HTML5 player on Youtube?

right now, i can only view 720p on most videos using the html5 player on youtube. if i use flash player, i can get 1080p, but i don't get to adjust the playback speed. will opera ever get 1080p video on youtube using the html5 player?
