I am pleasently alarmed with the rebirth of the history function of my Opera (vers. 57.0.3098.106). The alarming aspect is that nothing can be named as the origin of the `rebirth'.
I fear the moment that it will stop and disappear again,witout knowing why that happens.
I have installed Bitdefender and Advanced System Care. In the latter I have blocked the function that cleanes privacy aspects.
I hope that the history functions of Opera will remain intact.

What settings can prevent the history file from being deleted when a session is terminated? How can I designate more memory to keep the history file for a long time?

How can I prevent history files from being deleted when Opera (version 59.0.3160.00) is shut down ?

I want my history file TO STAY and NOT to disappear every time Opera (54).
Does anyone recognize this problem and what is the solution?

As far as my knowledge goes, I have never used a private window.
Can I install an older version of OPERA to avoid this problem?

My problem is the loss of the browsing history.
Before the installation of the latest update (54.0.2952.51) I made eager use of the history contents.
Now with every closing of Opera the contents are gone.
Can anyone advise me how to make the right changes ?
Where (in Windows 10) is the information stored ?
Where can I find information about the location of Opera files ?
