@leocg Do you think I should uninstall and reinstall Opera to see if that works? The only problem with doing that is I would loose all my speed dials (48 of them).

RE: Pixarra.com forum page keeps refreshingOpera for Windows
@leocg Are you going to the Forum page? The tab for the forum is on the bar at top of the page.
The forum page keeps loading and unloading as soon as I access it! This has been happening for several weeks. -
Pixarra.com forum page keeps refreshingOpera for Windows
I visit a Website forum http://www.pixarra.com (go to forum at top of home page).
this forum is useful for my art hobby.
But on Opera when visiting the site the home page keeps loading and unloading over and over, so I have to leave the site and use Microsoft Edge witch has no problem accessing it properly.
I disabled the Add blocker and checked my attachments but the same problem occurred?
Up until about 3 weeks ago Opera opened this site with no problems?
Any advice please? - Opera for Windows

Message about cookies being blocked in Sky EmailsOpera for Windows
I keep getting this error message when trying to access SKY e-mail:
Oops! Something went wrong
It looks like your browser is blocking cookies. Please change your browser settings to allow cookies when logging into Sky.
If this problem continues, contact customer services.
Error Number: 289
I have checked several times in settings on Opera and cookies are fully enabled for all sites.
Microsoft Edge has no problem accessing this site, so the problem is with Opera.Anyone have a solution to this problem please?

RE: Page out of memoryOpera for Windows
@burnout426 Add Blocker switched off solves the problem, but like others I do not like sharing my data! The Edge Browser has no problem running Disney+ movies, so I would say that the Opera Add Blocker is the problem when using Opera? Until very recently Opera worked flawlessly with D+ even with the Add Blocker running,

RE: [Solved]Disney Plus freezes/crashes while watching videosOpera for Windows
I'll be honest, when I first read your suggestions I thought no way they were going to work? But the first one I tried was disabling the add blocker and tracking software, and it worked!
But why add blocking (Disney Plus doesn't run any adds) and tracking (well who knows?).
So very often the less obvious things work!
I would never have thought of this solution, and I am still a little in the dark as to why it worked? ..... X Files anyone? -
[Solved]Disney Plus freezes/crashes while watching videosOpera for Windows
I am using the latest version of Opera 64 bit, I have used Opera for many years.
Recently I re-signed on Disney Plus streaming service, I have used Disney on Opera many times in the past without any problems.
In trying to watch a movie or any other show I found that after a few minutes of play the screen would freeze and nothing would stream without freezing. If I waited a short while (Minutes) the stream would start again, but after a few more minutes it would freeze again.
Nothing I tried even changing settings helped to stop this problem, Netflix and Amazon Prime has no problems running correctly on Opera, and Disney Plus works perfectly on the EDGE browser?
I have 32 gig of memory and an eight core processor and fairly high end graphics card also plenty of hard drive space, running Windows 10 pro latest build!
Anyone know what is going wrong with Opera? -
RE: [Solved] Ad blocker, where is it?Opera for Windows
@leocg You could be right! This install of Opera is a first install on a new build machine.
Thank you for your help, it's always a help to consult about a problem with someone! -
RE: [Solved] Ad blocker, where is it?Opera for Windows

RE: [Solved] Ad blocker, where is it?Opera for Windows
@leocg No! Wallpapers is the first thing, and there is no sign of the Ad Blocker anywhere in any of the menu tabs?
-
RE: [Solved] Ad blocker, where is it?Opera for Windows
@leocg No! I already tried that, there is nothing in settings that I can find that relates to the Ad Blocker, and the entry in Extensions to enable the Ad Blocker does not work?

[Solved] Ad blocker, where is it?Opera for Windows
Cannot activate the Ad Blocker in Opera latest version, The menu is available in Extensions Settings but will not activate and I am having to use Ublock Origin to stop Ad's. Why is the built in Ad Blocker disabled?

RE: Metro News problem?Opera for Windows
OK! I have found the setting and disabled the news feature! Who among the Opera Guru's thought that filling the speed dial page with this junk was a good idea?

Metro News problem?Opera for Windows
I have no idea how this load of junk got onto my browser, but when I started the browser (latest version) today, my home page is speed dial, at the bottom of the page was a long list of picture boxes with various news items which I have not placed there, and a re-start does not remove them?
I am a very careful browser and only visit a few sites that are clean, to my knowledge I have not accidentally download this rubbish? The problem is there does not seem to be a way to remove this? Can anyone please help?

Correct! And I cannot figure out why this happens?

RE: Up to 30 or more Speeddial tabs added randomly?Opera for Windows
Well , Opera 53 does add speed dial tabs to the top bar seemingly at random for me? There is no action on my part that would explain why this happens, I use a speed dial icon to switch to a saved site (any site that is saved as a speed dial) and once today and several times yesterday and once or twice last week, multiple speed dial tabs appear on the top bar?
