I think the problem with the side bar on youtube not showing up might be the fact that I am using a laptop and the item size level of windows 8 is set to 125%. This setting is causing many problems in many websites when using opera (doesnt happen with other browsers). This is probably just one more problem to the list.

For me the youtube sidebar is no longer working after the latest update. I click on the button that makes it show up but nothing happens, only the button changes to its "sidebar visible" state.

I think that everyone would like some official word on this.
I really hope that they at least give us the option to use whatever size we want. No other application I have on my PC acts this way and I can't seem to be able to fix this issue with the suggested solutions.

So after the latest update everything got bigger.
I assume it has something to do with windows item size set to 125%.

Is there a way to revert the change of size?

I am using windows 8.1
