Thank you both! That did the trick. Now the speed dial page is clean (and no Google!)

Just installed Opera 20. Is there a way to remove the Google search bar from speed dial or change it to another search engine? Changing search engine preference only changes search engine used in address bar search, does not affect the Google search bar below it. If this can't be removed or changed, I will be uninstalling Opera. Thank you.
