My Opera browser randomly freezes. When it freezes, I notice the computer fans getting louder, and in the task manager, it indicates a high power usage. Just opening the browser sometimes makes the sound of my fans very noticeable. What have you done, Opera? Has anybody else experienced this, and is there a fix? This only started with the last couple of updates.

RE: Reader mode not availableOpera for Windows
The book icon in the web address bar URL wasn't even showing for me. Here is what I did:
In the URL or web address bar, type the following and hit enter:
opera://flags/
In the “Search Flags” bar at the top, type reader.
Look in the “Reading Mode” section. On the right-hand side, there is a drop-down menu.
It’s on “Default [E]”. Click on it and then click on “Enabled”.
Then click on the “Relaunch” button.

Wallpaper IssuesOpera for Windows
I have some minor issues with setting up pictures as wallpapers in OperOne. First I had a problem with dragging and dropping pictures to the Opera window. They wouldn't open. It works on all other browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Vivaldi, etc. I did find a solution. I discovered that I had to drag the picture right up to the address or URL bar to display a picture in Opera.
Second I had problems setting up wallpaper backgrounds in Opera with pictures from my own system. Some would display some would not. After some trial and error troubleshooting, I discovered the reason why even though it wasn't an issue before. The pictures that wouldn't display had brackets in the name, like, "image(001).jpg". Worked before but now I have to rename them and remove the brackets before I can set them up as a wallpaper background.
So my question is, "Is this normal behavior for OperaOne now? Or is it just my system? By the way, I notice the same issues affecting OperaGX.

@stonedg I wrote an article here about creating custom icons if you are up for it: https://davescomputertips.com/creating-custom-thumbnails-for-opera-speed-dials/

@bramborovysalat-0 Go to settings. Left-hand side click on Privacy & security. Last two options in that block: Display promotional notifications and Receive promotional Speed Dials, bookmarks and campaigns - disable both switches.

@stonedg Just use the Zoom feature. Opera menu, Zoom either + to make them bigger or - to make them smaller. It works on mine that way. You can also hold down the Ctrl key and use your mouse wheel to zoom in or out.

Drag and Drop BackgroundsGeneral
I don't know if this is a bug but in every browser I have on my system I can just drag and drop a picture into the browser it will display the picture. I thought Opera disabled that feature until I realized that it would work if I drag the picture to the address or URL bar. Is this how it's supposed to work? Or is there something wrong with Opera. Opera GX works the same way. Also, what is the best size for an image background for a better fit as a background image?
