@andrew84: It looks like part of chromium changes, they made focus borders thicker some releases ago. They also had light blue borders, now have thick black. You can disable it with chrome://flags/#form-controls-refresh

@fuliozor: I assume that you write about tab discard feature which aim is to save memory on tabs you are not using. This is chromium's feature and they removed the ability to disable this some time ago - it is enabled by default right now. You can still try to use extensions which prevent tab discarding, you can find some on chrome webstore.

@ralf-brinkmann: I had similar issue some time ago but it was fixed with previous developer. No issue with current version (73.0.3841.0) - for both fullscreen and external app scenarios. What are the exact steps to reproduce this?
