Check the log to see what message Opera is hanging up on. Then, move it out of the Inbox on the server to see if Opera will then fetch the rest of the messages in the Inbox. If that works, we can analyze the source of that problem message to see if we can find out what Opera has a problem with (the log might help with that too). Then, if needed, you could edit the message, upload it to the Inbox with IMAP and then delete the original.

Even though this thread was two years ago. but i still want to add some. upgrading Windows 7 to Windows 10 ,There are a lot of problems that haven't been solved , after upgraded , the Windows admin password will fail and users are not allowed to enter the computer with password , and the computers are easily locked if the Windows upgrade program fail .

I already have the standalone Opera (latest version) installed, but it crashes everyime I put my cursor on the bookmarks (which doesn't show any of the imported bookmarks). Any suggestions

Delete bookmarks.adr in the preferences folder while Opera is closed. If that doesn't work, delete autosave.win in the "sessions" folder in the preferences folder. If that doesn't work, delete any ini files in the "toolbars", "keyboard" and "menu" folders. If that doesn't work, rename operaprefs.ini. If that doesn't work, reinstall Opera over the top of itself to repair any program files.
