Would it be possible to add the option to auto-hide the sidebar? This would mean that when your mouse is not near the left hand side, it would slide completely out of view, maximising browser/tab space. Bring your mouse near the left hand side (or swipe your finger left to right near the left edge on a tablet) and the sidebar will slide out to be visible and usable again....

Highlights
We fixed some UI issues on Linux: O-menu elements are more visible again and the menu is positioned correctly. Plus, the context menu does not have a black border anymore -

Situation is still present (if not worse) in Opera Developer 46.0.2573.0

... but come over to Opera Developer 46.0.2602.0 (latest public build) and it's fixed....
