Found that it's spam using from as name<my email>. Can't stop it apparently. However have changed the image for my name to the bright red star. That shows them up wonderfully so they stand out and can be deleted.

Opera Mail. Receive mail marked as Followed Contacts to my email address. The sender, usually an organization is not in my address list and has not sent the email in response to an email from me.
If I cancel the Contact they are then marked as read and future mail also comes in as read. Any suggestions in how to receive the mail with no Contact and be marked as Unread?

Marble mouse works OK in Google Chrome and Word.

Thanks leocg. It works. Used the http://shadow2531.com/opera/m2/make_m2_default_client.zip and it all worked. Thought I'd have a problem having original program and all mail and labels etc in AppData and the new one in C/program files x86, but the new one picked everything up and just had to replace Icons from desk top and taskbar. Thanks to Burnout for the files.

Many thanks but I have been there. Problem is that Opera Mail does not appear in the list for either choose application or protocol.

Does anyone know how to set opera mail as the default in Windows 8.1. Opera mail does not appear in 'choose an application'?
If you have a solution then I would be grateful if you could supply it in simple steps.

Using Locitech Marble mouse with button 3 set to Universal Scroll in Opera 22. On pressing button 3 the scroll icon is displayed but the roller ball does not scroll the display. Any one know a solution. Normal mouse does work.
