@himmelsheriff moving to a new browser isn't exactly easy, I've spent the last 2 days moving all my data on all my computers to new browsers away from opera and it is tiring, I gotta retune my muscle memory, find replacements for features I use frequently, figure out how to copy my settings across and sign back into everything.

I previously stuck with opera for a good 8 years for its stunning UI and then they ship this absolute vomit inducing mess. each update over the last few years has removed something I use or added something terrible enabled by default but the nice UI kept me, now I'm done with it.

it is absolutely disgusting, seriously this rounded edges garbage is the worst trend of all time. I can not continue using this browser. it has gone from visually stunning to gag inducing. words cannot describe how stupid and horrible it is.

yep that's what I've had to do all this time but my god is it annoying, sometimes it requires several space bar spams, who could possibly want this autocomplete garbage is it for people who only ever visit the same 3 sites maybe once a month?

If I start typing something in the url and press enter it will automatically enter that first result how do I stop that??

The result it will autocomplete is either something I've searched for before or something I have bookmarked but I dont wanna see that shit when I press enter I want to see results for what I've typed at ALL times, if I want the bookmark I'll click the bookmark...

I've been searching for a solution for this for years now across chrome and opera and it become the most annoying thing in my life I need a permanent solution, I dont wanna have to stop saving bookmarks or clear my browsing history 5 times a day, any help is appreciated thanks
