I disabled all extensions in Opera 49 (lazy loading of tabs) and tested it against Chrome, the new Firefox, Dragon, Icedragon, Ghost, Brave and Epic and it uses at least a gig more memory. I don't know what the problem with it is these days but after it being my main browser for some years now I think I am going to have to ditch it.

Tabs which were closed are re-opened when browser is opened again (after close)Opera for Windows
I don't know if anyone has reported this and don't see it in the forum. This has been happening for a few weeks.
I always have about 15 to 20 tabs open but I use the feature to only load tabs when they are clicked.
During a session I will open more tabs and close them or others.
Then I close the browser and at some point open it again.
I then notice that some of the tabs I had closed in the last session (or some sessions ago if I didn't notice it right away) are still there. Here is my version info:
Version: 48.0.2685.52 (PGO) - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Windows 7 64-bit -
RE: [FAQ] How is synchronization coming along?Synchronization
With so many bookmarks, removing the duplicate items is a nightmare of course How can this be fixed? I restarted Opera several times, but it did not help.
The extension V7 Bookmarks in it's setting page will allow you to delete duplicates.

RE: Menu's and ToolBars and ButtonsOpera for Windows
I like a Home button (used a bookmark bar button instead) and individual menus (like in Firefox). I would like a Bookmarks menu item that I can navigate instead of having to go a separate page each time I want to access bookmarks. And if you click the heart to bookmark a page and then change your mind, another click should remove it but it doesn't.

RE: LINUX QUESTION, how to import and export bookmarks?Opera for Linux
Someone had posted a similar comment in the Windows forum earlier today and it was closed already. Apparently you need an extension to export bookmarks which I find very disappointing. How hard is it to have a function to export to an html or xml (whatever it uses) file?
I just saw someone suggest V7 Bookmarks extension and I tried it.

RE: [FAQ] How is synchronization coming along?Synchronization
First, I notice people using this syntax:
Opera menu > More Tools >
but in Opera 31 which I just started using I don't see that option.
Feature request: I would like to be able to do selective syncing for example just bookmarks (and no tabs).
Thanks!
