I have finally been able to sign into Flow on my HP PC and my Samsung s8 tablet.
Happy Dance!
Thanks, Devs.
I'm 81 years old and used Flow all the time until it recently starting failing me.
It is incredibly useful...thanks for fixing it.

AokoG:
That solution did not work for me.
I am trying to connect my Samsung S8 tablet to my HP desktop and the tablet just will not recognize the QR code on the HP desktop screen at all. So it fails at the first step.
I've been using Opera for maybe 20 years and never had had any trouble with Flow until now. (model Samsung x700 Android version 13)
Maybe it's the fault of my Samsung tablet. But I have been using Flow up until recently daily between these two devices.
Thanks for trying to help....I find Flow very useful and I wish I could use it.
@coldsgt65 This keeps happening to me also.
Would appreciate some help!
@phoinixtk Thanks so much! Your clear explanation on how to add this to the sidebar made my day.
I also added three cloud storage sites to the sidebar making my life much easier.
Getting message that Keep is blocked. Thought it was related to my changing my Google password but see that others have the same problem.
Worked great for a long time.
Look for an extension called V7 Notes. It's the closest I've found to an Opera notes solution. You can import your old notes from Opera 12 or Opera Presto.
Are you people referring to Opera 31? I'm using Opera 30 and I LOVE the speed dial thumbnails - they are beautiful and if you want to change them to thumbnail screenshots of the web site just click on the heart.
Lots of choices for everyone - what's not to love?
Not understanding the complaints...
+2 I am still using Opera Mail (standalone now) and can't find a decent replacement. Loved the browser integrated email...some people just don't want Google handling their emails and the attraction of GMail, I guess, is that it is integrated into the browser.
The "heart" method of choosing the look of the speed dial tile does not work in version 28.0.1750.40, correct? I can scroll through the possible choices but when I select the color tile version it does not "stick" but reverts to a screenshot of the web site.
If I'm wrong, could someone direct me how to do it?
Yes, please add notes and add open in follower tab (create linked tab). Opera 12 was the best browser ever created...just add all its features and you can't go wrong.
Being cynical here again but....Google is pushing their Keep software hard and would not implement Opera notes because of that, I guess. The great feature about Opera notes was that you could click on the note and go to the web site from which you copied the note...awesome. Sigh...
NOTES! I would like notes back, and link sync which includes syncing notes, download manager, create follower link (why do idiot people have 50 to 100 tabs open when they can use Create Follower Link and have only TWO open.. people are DUMB...right click on a tab in 12 and choose "Create Follower Tab"), and integrated email and chat (not gonna happen, I guess).
Funny how Opera was first with syncing bookmarks and now is the only browser without it.
The Opera staff sold us out. Notice how Opera has DISAPPEARED from any lists of browsers you see. Opera owners were suckers and got gobbled up by Google Chrome so they could deep six the browser ...and they have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams! Hope Opera owners got a ton of cash for the sell out. I'm amazed they didn't know what was happening...naive or money-hungry.
I'm sticking with 12.
