Whoops, you're right. I never pin the sidebar, so I didn't know there's that option. I guess I might've somehow clicked it accidentally.
It's now working as before.
Thank you!

I apologize if this has been discussed before.
I use sidebar all the time, especially for WhatsApp. After a recent Opera update, I noticed that the sidebar is now behaving differently than before. Before, when I click one of the icons, the widget window will be shown as a pop-up overlay (?) over whatever page currently showing. But now it acts like a browser window that always open, shown side-by-side with the main current page, so the main browser page gets narrower when the sidebar is being used.
I can only guess that it was changed so that the main browser page always fully visible regardless sidebar, and the sidebar widget/extension can open all the time. I can see how this will to be very useful for some people, but I have to admit that I don't like this and want the old one to return. I don't want the sidebar to be open all the time, and it's jarring to see the page gets squeezed/stretched repeatedly whenever I open and close the sidebar.
Is there an option that I miss somewhere in the Settings page that can change that? If not, I hope Opera would be kind enough to let us choose which mode/behavior that we want.
Thank you.
Twitter is now officially supported in the latest opera build, so for those with updated opera won't need this extension anymore. For those who for some reason still use old build, this extension will serve you well.
Have nothing new to add, but.. yeah, happens to me too.
I'm on an old laptop (Pentium T4600 + onboard graphic) and since updating to Creator Update none of the functions mentioned above work (or maybe "100% invisible" like kryouck said above). Had to turn the hardware acceleration off to make them function normally like before.
In old Opera I can navigate through links in a page with Shift/Ctrl + arrow keys shortcut and press enter to access the highlighted link.
I would love for the new Opera to have this feature back. I think it's great for people who have their hands on the keyboard for most of the time so we don't have to reach the mouse every time we want to go to a specific link in a page.
(I know pressing Tabs essentially doing the same thing, but the new Opera doesn't show which link is being selected, and the selection is only linear)
