Any add-on that might come in mind?

I use a dual monitor setup at home and sometimes I have something going on the secondary monitor while I use the main one. I like to have sometimes some music or video clip going on the secondary monitor while working on the main one.

To do so, I usually end up using two open windows of the browser. Today, I minimized the secondary window and closed the main one. Now, I see that I made a terrible mistake because all my windows that were open on my main window are lost and I ended up with my Binging with Babish silly 1 million subscribers video instead of the actually important work stuff I wanted.

Other than looking for those open websites on my history (which don't show all tabs because not all of them were accessed today), how else can I retrieve (or prevent from losing) those tabs?

That happens when you hold Ctrl as you press Enter. There is currently no way to disable or change this behaviour.
They have given us customisable keyboard shortcuts for everything except this very annoying one.

I knew there was something about it! I don't remember pressing ctrl when this happened so IDK what caused it but it is nice to know that I was not going crazy.

I don't see the purpose of a malware to turn "urban dictionary ymmv" into that google search link I mentioned on my first post.

This has got to be some kind of browser configuration.

I only search for anything by simply typing the search term on the address bar of a new tab. The problem is that sometimes Opera turns those terms into a URL. For example: I just tried to search "urban dictionary ymmv" and opera turned it to " http://www.urban%20dictionary%20ymmv.com/ " which was sent to " https://www.google.com.br/search?client=opera&q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.urban%2520dictionary%2520ymmv.com%2F&sourceid=opera&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8 ". This is pretty stupid and frustrating sometimes. I've also been redirected to some websites a few times that have nothing to do with what I was searching and I worry I might get in trouble someday for inadvertly being redirected to a a nsfw website while at work. You can see why this worries me.

How do I turn this function off without turning autofill predictions off? For example: when I want to go to facebook, it shows the whole facebook.com while typing.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I did a full uninstall, did what I was told (http://help.opera.com/Windows/12.10/en/crash.html) to do to create on a new folder as a stand alone installation and now things are finally working out.

I'll update here again in case the problem shows up again.

There are MANY addresses that this happens. It's actually pretty random and weird as heck.

For example: if I type maps.google.com it won't open. If I open on another browser, get the exact position I want and copy-paste the link on opera, it opens.

If I try to type in facebook.com, it won't open but going straight to my profile on www.facebook.com/MyProfileName works.

It is hell trying to use reddit with so many links to different websites. Sometimes not even imgur will open. Lots of broken links and many news and articles just don't open.

I'm not sure what is going on but this is making Opera almost unusable.

I opened a new browser tab, typed a new address, pressed enter. The typed address is cleared and the browser just does not open the address. It stays on the speed dial page like if I haven't typed anything.
I have 3 other tabs open. All my extensions have been disabled already and the browser has been closed and opened again.

I am running Opera on Windows 10 and am currently using version 44.0.2510.1159 (PGO).

Any help would be much appreciated.
