Hi all,
The time has come for a new beta of Opera Mini 12. Since the last beta, we have squashed many crashers and over 70 bugs in total. And, if you get Facebook notifications in Opera Mini, they will now include profile pictures, so you can see more easily who is sending you a message.
Recently, we unveiled Opera’s new brand identity, which includes a new logo. In today's release, we have updated the icons used inside Opera Mini, but the app icon that appears on your phone will remain the same for now - it will be updated in a future release.

Please Fix Download Resume feature. It doesn't work correctly. Always failed to Resume. Upgrade the Opera Mini's built-in Download Manager to download any file super speedy because Opera Mini's downloading speed is too much slow.

I've been using this mini beta on a new phone for a few days now. here's some improvement I had in mind :

while it's good to see speed dials on other device, it fall short on the management. at this point I expect ability to applying and moving speed dials from other devices to the current device. the tabs part is pretty nice.

now I kinda regret the unified url/search box decision. it makes hard to refine or change the search engine for what we're currently search. the text typically become the result url instead and we must re-type OR edit-block-all-copy-edit-paste our search.
It actually won't be that troublesome if we also able to longpress-copy all text from textbox directly like the old mini 7 and longpress-paste it to url/search box.

and maybe add "mini 7" (with separated url and search box) to the app layout list would help quench the thirst for people who desire old days looks more. myself included.

and stragely for every few moments it refuse me to stay logged in at this very site.

Hi Opera Team,

I just want to report that the latest stable version of Opera Mini lags when I am switching among tabs. I find this annoying considering that my device has a 2 GB of RAM and running MTK 6752. The unit is Alcatel Flash Plus, now I am currently using the version 9 of the app. When will you guys release the next version? It has been almost 2 months with no update. I tried to use the beta version of Opera Mini and still it lags. Why is that?

PS. I just can't live without Opera because of your offline reading capability.

could you please bring back Bookmarks to the big red O menu , now for me to access Bookmarks i have to leave my current page and go to the main page and press Bookmarks folder previously I could access the bookmarked page without losing my current page/tab,also i noticed that thumbnails for bookmarked pages are no longer appearing .

I upgraded to jquery 1.11.3 and keep the lines in this order now:
<head> <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.11.3.min.js"> </script> <script type="text/javascript" src="show.js"> </script> </head>
I removed one extra closing bracket from the line below right after jquery.js:
<script src="jquery.js"> type="text/javascript"></script>
so the correct line looks like this:
<script src="jquery.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
However, that did not help. The trick was in my other scripts' order. That is I reversed the order I had and it started to work. For example I had script1, script2, script3 placed like this:
<script src="script1.js"> type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="script2.js"> type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="script3.js"> type="text/javascript"></script>
Now I have changed it to:
<script src="script1.js"> type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="script3.js"> type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="script2.js"> type="text/javascript"></script>
and it all revived. Hope it will help someone out there. Make sure you check / experiment with your scripts' places and chances are it will work for your as well. Just remember it all has to go coherently and successively.

Opera should add Onedrive and GoogleDrive to Opera mini and other opera browsers

That would bring the best of Google to work as they say, but in this case Opera should rethink that as a business solution.
