@christoph142 for me saying something you don't like and not being constructive is not necessarily the same thing.

RE: Google

RE: Google

RE: Migrating from firefox and had some questoinsOpera for Windows
I'm in the process of migrating from firefox
L.O.L. why'd someone wanna do that? I'm currently working on an article on why do you need to migrate from Opera to Firefox, based on my personal experience. It's going to be quite a read, I gotta tell you... On the topic:
Is there like a deluxe or enhanced version I can get that has these features that seem to have been in the prior versions?
In short, no, and probably never will be.

RE: Why do Opera 20 suck?Opera for Windows
There's plenty of trouble around here without me... lots of users who feel deceived, hordes of uncontrolled spammers, a web browser that is not actually worthy of being called "browser"... stuff like that.

@awzx: just go away and stop trolling.
My first point is applicable to you as well by the way.

RE: Why do Opera 20 suck?Opera for Windows
Allow me to suggest that you have to get used to a new browser.
Allow me to suggest you to get some life.
It takes a little work.
It might take a little work for someone who has never used even a 70% of Presto's features, for others it would be like learning how to browse the Internet for the first time, or even how to walk.

RE: Opera 12.17Opera for Windows
Opera Presto engine is licenced to other companies in their products.
Wha? What products specifically are you talking about in which Presto is being used?Opera will NOT give it to open source.
Well then they most likely will be forever remembered as a venal cowards -
RE: Opera 12.17Opera for Windows
it has unique features
Are you referring to the absence of the bookmarks manager and site settings, as well as to the meager customization options, even in comparison with Chrome? Well, those "features" are definitely unique to Chropera, although they can hardly attract someone who's not employed by Opera ASA and while Firefox and Chrome are around. So, keep hallucinating.

RE: Opera 12 Vs. Opera Next FunctionalityOpera for Windows
Oh we will move on, don't doubt that Christoph...
I personally think that lame-ass browser doesn't even need any bashing since it says it all for itself for everyone who has their own opinion in conjunction with a bit of grey matter in their heads,
just as this spammer-magnet excuse for a forum doesn't deserve any time to have spent on. -
RE: OPERA and YOUTUBE

RE: Opera or GoogleChromeOpera for Windows
@sidneyneto
I will ask again: Old Opera was born with all its features? [...] Do you think it is easy to developer a new browser from zero?
I don't get it... are you trying to imply that Chropera is being built from zero? Are you insane or something? Opera Presto was built from scratch, and that was bloody 15 years ago or so, so it is understandable why it took quite some time for it to become that Opera Presto that we know today. But what on Earth its evolution story has got to do with progress of
today's Opera that draws most of its code from already working software??? I see most of Chropera defenders tend to use the same idiotic excuses (probably prewritten by their employers), but it really helps to try to use your own brain from time to time -
RE: OLD IS GOLD, we want new opera with all old stuffOpera for Windows
@leushino
there is no Chropera
Sure there is... Chropera is that joke some humorists came up with, the one that tries to look like good old Opera browser and utilize its name yet de-facto has nothin really to do with it. Well maybe that's not Chropera, but sure as hell that's not Opera neither.
-
RE: OLD IS GOLD, we want new opera with all old stuffOpera for Windows
The devs are developing their own browser.
It doesn't look like they really are. The actual facts show that there is very little to no progress whatsoever with Chropera, just as not a lot of differences between Chrome and Opera 20. Or at least let's say between Opera 20 and Yandex Browser/Coolnovo/Torch/whatever other Chromium-forked browser.

RE: How do I block a websiteOpera for Windows
Is there a feature built into opera that would block a website.
There is one in Opera 12 (Tools - Advanced - Blocked Content...). With Chropera I believe you would need some extension like Adblock Plus for that.

RE: Java
