Being a long time Opera user on PC/Mac I'm used to launching a new tab when clicking a link from a google search. There is an option in settings but can't find a similar setting in the android version.

Can someone point to how this may be done on a tablet.

Also noticed only 2 of the tab switches work others don't. And interestingly Ctl 3 (Ctl number) will select the 3rd tab (nth tab). But Ctl 3 is supposed to be Open Mail panel.

I've been an Opera fan way back when it was a paid application. In OSX, I created applescript hotkeys to speed my experience e.g. F2 to Close other tabs. Now wish to add the same hotkeys to a new install of Win 10 and Opera 36 but noticed many keyboard shortcuts are not working.

Using Opera Help: Keyboard Shortcuts page, I found half the tab shortcuts fail. For example

Mainly form fields and the "Search with Google" toolbar entry.

An example is comparing prices on various sites. I must cut once and paste many times. Would be nice if Opera starts listing past entries as I type.

First add "Insert Personal" back to the right click menu in Opera 20. I still use Opera 12.16 because the feature is missing.

Also the autofill "Personal" info is address based. I often keep non address info in that section. More free form fields to collect user saved data is requested.

I have been an Opera user since the very beginning (and even paid a user license way back). Opera saves me time which is the best complements I can give.

My suggestion is 2 sided:

1. Keep track of keyboard entries.
2. Display past entries in a drop down box when new keystrokes occur and allow selection.

This will avoid the extra cut & paste keystrokes when entering the same expression on different tabs. Similar to google's prediction but based on the user's past entries. Of course add companion actions such as allow flushing of the saved entries or keeping entries after closing Opera etc.

Me too. Insert Personal right click was a brilliant feature. Maybe not revolutionary but makes Opera user friendly. It saves me a ton of time every day.

How can we get this back.
