Opera for WindowsProblems with Windows High Contrast theme
I use High Contrast on Windows. With this theme, form controls with no custom style look all black, and so does the address bar.
I created a discussion over 6 months ago regarding the same issue. Soon after, the address bar was fixed, but only that, not the rest of the issues.
But since a patch some weeks ago, the address bar broke again and it looks all black. I can hardly type addresses. When I need to work with them I have to switch to Chrome.Here's the same picture I uploaded for the previous thread. All problems are still the same except the address bar that now it's completely black all the time, as shown under "Searching from address bar".
I'm using Opera Developer 31.0. Just downloaded Opera stable 30.0 to check but it has the same issues. Can I have this fixed please? (it feels that only me uses high contrast theme because this hasn't been fixed in all this time!)
By the way... this textarea where I'm typing doesn't have a scrollbar? The
overflow-yturnshiddenautomatically and I can't even resize the element vertically. To go upwards I have to select the text in that direction. -

Hello.
I guess you're already aware of this problem but anyway. I use a high contrast theme on Windows 8: black background, white foreground. This causes Opera to display some controls' background in black, while keeping the black for the font, thus showing black blocks with invisible text. You may already know what I'm talking about but here's a pic.Would be great to see this fixed.
Also (to avoid creating a new thread), I like the big preview for pages that activates "on mouse over" a tab, reminds me of the small windows' preview when you hold mouse pointer over a taskbar item. The thing is, Windows Taskbar's preview will go away as soon as you press any key. This behaviour could be added to tab previews: fade away if the user starts pressing any key.
