@leocg,
Gee, you really think you gave me helpful information?
The content to which your link leads is inappropriate to the conditions(!) being discussed in this thread.
These two sentences are therefore completely misleading.
1.) Your post will be released by a moderator as soon as possible
- " as soon as possible"; can you refer to this, leocg?
** once one of my post was moderated for more than 6 hours, and it was finally published only because I have written and sent on to thread the copy of the first post with a note for forum Mod. and this made that the post appeared at last.
*** yesterday my post was moderated for nearly 3 hours.
What was in it? ? The content was related to the question asked by the forum moderator. Check it out,
https://forums.opera.com/post/85774
2.) you can use the flag tool if you have something really important to report to moderators.
- " use the flag tool (...) to report [something] to moderators";
** the term flag doesn't really mean in this forum reporting but rather signaling eg. that inappropriate content was published and that's all, full stop.
The report contains at least one compound sentence.
Explain therefore how you can send to the moderator a message in the form of such a
sentence just by clicking the
cogwheel and selecting flag?
This is the real difficulty, how to tell the moderator that
after moderation post lacks annotation on the main board about the author of the post, the time of dispatch...?
I am with Opera for over 8 years and never my posts haven't been flagged. Until August, then by accident I clicked on the cogwheel next to my own post and I couldn't undo that move. From that moment on I started to realize that forum users don't have sufficient support from the forum management.
At the end;
3.) As we read in the rules;
...contact a moderator DIRECTLY rather than posting in the forum.
** As you said, there is no way to do it
*** Unfortunately we - you, the moderator and me, the user - are talking now with each other by posting ON the forum, so this is indirect talk.
According to the rules of this forum this isn't appropriate action.
Do you understand now why I wrote earlier that your link refers to content that does not comply issues raised by me?
This is because, the issue
relates to the area where forum users don't have sufficient support from the forum management.
Regards.
