That is a pity. So how do I clean browser data upon exit but leave cookies from a few websites in place ?

I just tested it with two sites @susanm , but after closing and opening the browser both entries I made like you suggested are gone.

@susanm Thanks. I will check out that page. From one site is workable for me. Any chance Opera will do it on cookie level in the future.

My system is set to clean when closing the browser. Is it possible to define the cookies that should not be deleted ?

Thanks, but no-idea what that is. I did find out right click on the video offers the mini player, which stays on screen when the browser is minimized. Seems to work excellent.

@leocg The option is currently missing because Chromium changed the dialog and Opera has to redo things to work with the new dialog. Opera is working on it.

Before 2010 I was a big Opera fan. Over the years I moved away and started using the Microsoft standard browser.

But I moved back to Opera. Unfortunately I am very disappointed. I tried two hours and was not able to do simple things like . .

• Clean history when closing browser
• Set a homepage that opens when starting Opera.

Opera used to be simple and straight forward, but seems is now is for people who like tinkering it and not for people who like using it
