@slip123 i think you speak about Opera GX. CPU limiter doesn't really limits you CPU to certain amount of load, but to amount of your CPU Cores. I see that you have four options above 0%, it seems that your CPU has at least 4 cores. 25% means one core, 50% two cores, etc. Once you set your limits, Opera will not exceed the amount of CPU cores you did set in your limit settings.

RE: Opera using a lot of disk activity reading opera_browser.dllOpera GX
I've noticed that too.
Without using Opera daily read activity on my SSD stays at 2 to 3 gigabyte. With Opera it can reach 20 gigabytes a day. Read activity on SSD is not that much trouble as write activity, but still...
As i understand, each active process of opera.exe in one way or another does read opera_browser.dll. If it was just one process, or at least .dll placed in RAM, it will be just a 150mb read from SSD\HDD on browser start. But with 5 or 10 opera.exe(s) it goes up to 1gb and more. And then, when you close and open browser again, it does it again.

RE: Parts of page fail to load, white backgroundOpera for Windows
@lukeharrison1122 try to disable hardware acceleration. It seems to fix that bug.
Opera GX, for some reason, doesn't have that problem whatever acceleration is enabled or not. -
RE: Parts of page fail to load, white backgroundOpera for Windows
I have this too. usually i can re-create it by opening Youtube, and then one or two tabs. Also minimizing-maximizing browser can take same effect. Opera GX works fine. And that happens only in Youtube page.
Disabling hardware acceleration seems to fix it. But Opera GX doesn't need it to be disabled and has no bugs.

Just want to add: even dark mode colors in Opera GX popup menu and settings is grey, very similar to youtube's

[Request] Unlock Lightness in dark mode theme settings.Opera GX
Opers GX works more faster than normal Opera here.
But this pure black theme with bright white icons on bookmark panel is hurting eyes.
It can be fixed if background color will be close to grey rather than black. Why Lightness setting is locked in dark mode in additional color scroll?
Normal Opera has this blue-ish dark theme, which doesn't hurt eyes.
I would like to stay on Opera GX, but normal Opera really wins here. -
RE: Tab Media GifSuggestions and feature requests
Yes, please, just add option to have Static tab Icons.
Simple checkbox that will prevent them from being animated.
There will be no need to replace GIF, loading and showing only first frame will be enough.Animated GIF indicators forces high CPU\GPU usage. There is no need for that. Your sound bar indicator on tabs with sound works with over 300+ fps. Because of that Opera can be considered full-scale 3D game, rather than simple browser.
