Based on your investigation it seems that Edge updates the search site to Bing, but this can be changed in the Edge settings. But worse is that it also hijacks the browser. Bad.

Please keep me informed about your conclusions.

I had checked the Opera settings but the default search engine is unchanged and still Google.
I also noticed that the same has happened when I do a long press context-search in Chrome.
It may be that the context menu is not a browser setting but a device setting. Although the problem does not appear in Frefox.

Dear readers,

Opera for Android is my browser of choice on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet.
After installing Edge (no, no, only for testing ) I noticed that the Search in the (long press) context menu is redirected from "search with Google in Opera" to "search with Bing in Edge".

I want my previous action restored.
Removing Edge is a possibility because the previous "search" action is reverted again but it would be nice to have the "search" to my liking (i.e. definitely not Bing).

All information and ideas welcome.
.- Is it possible to revert that, without removing Edge?
.-And if so, where and how can I do that?

In a new site I encounter a problem in the recent versions of Opera for Android (37.0) and in Chrome (52.0).
No problem in SamsungBrowser (4.0) (also Blink browser but older engine).
No problem in other browsers installed on my tablet (Galaxy Tab S2) and phone (HTC M-8 and HTC 10).

If you try to scroll down on Opera or Chrome the page blocks and refuses to show the lower part (as if the bottom has been reached). Really annoying because the upper part shows an image and almost all information stays hidden.
In other browsers you can scroll to the bottom.

I have tested it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 and on HTC 10. I tested various other installed browsers but none showed the blocking behaviour.

Can anyone please inform me what the problem is?
Is it a bug in recent versions of Blink?
Is it possible to resolve this in the code?

I received a reply form Opera on my bug report.
The bug is confirmed. It was an unintended side effect from another change.
The solution is already implemented in the Chromium code and will be shipped in a future chromium release.

I was aware of the thread you pointed to. According to me that was however a different issue unrelated to the fact that for me it only occured in a local testenvironment.

When testing in a local environment @font-face fonts (using a local installed font) are blocked.
"Inspect element" roprts in the console:
Font from origin 'file://' has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: Invalid response. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access.

I do not expect font files to be blocked when working completely within a protocol 'file://' environment.
I reported bug DNA-43075 "Locally installed fonts are blocked when used in local environment".

Using OPR/33.0.1967.0 (Edition developer), Windows 10 64-bits

Hi all,

I tested notifications on the test site http://aurelio.audero.it .

(Have Dutch language installed and hope I used the correct English terms.)

In the Settings | Websites under Notifications I open the Manage exceptions screen and see:
http://aurelio.audero.it:80 'Allowed'

I cannot delete or change the entry from the exceptions list.
Anyone an idea?
Is this a security issue?

Of course the settings are available in the Preferences file but that should not be the place to remove it.
