RE: asked the difference between Aria and other AI generative toolLounge
I've noticed that when it comes to Aria and what capabilities it has relative to other Ai, it tends to hit the documentation hard and not be able to provide any other answer unless you get creative/lucky with your phrasing of the question. Even then it will frequently be confused because Aria's features are not listed in it's learned database.
Once you move away from asking about Aria and GPT it tends to get more helpful.

RE: General Aria Feedback TopicFeedback
Aria could do with customisation settings.
- First would be reply speed, waiting on Aria to find the button on the typewriter is frustrating
- The number of points in a conversation to evaluate, apparently Aria only responds based on the current and two previous questions not the whole chat. Obviously there are speed considerations here.
- Font type and size as well as background
- The option for Aria to interact with other settings within the browser

I believe chatGPT is web disabled by design, it's primary focus is conversational interaction.Aria by itself is also web disabled but it's primary focus is on data resolution for which the Opera browser has an interface software call the 'Composer Ai engine' which can retrieve real-time data from the web for Aria. The Ai has a preference for using learned data before requesting live data though.
Both Training datasets are from 2021 but Aria can retrieve current web results through it's integration with Opera.

Warnings in Replies cause confusionFeedback
I have had difficulty with Aria and been confused by conflicting information in replies only to discover on further discussion with Aria that the warnings are generated outside of the Ai.
The difficulty is that the response is provided in a uniform text and style making it difficult to separate the system warnings form Aria's reply. Which then confuses Aria further as it has no knowledge about the warning inserted into the response. Can we get the system warnings in a different style from Aria's reply so it is clear whether it is the system or Aria generating the message.

RE: asked the difference between Aria and other AI generative toolLounge
Aria will be more likely to find the relevant answer if you explain what your area you want it to look in. Simplest way to think of Ai is talking to a young child, it understands the words but understands very little about anything else unless you explain it first. They also have a limited attention span, the longer you go on the earlier conversation can get forgotten especially if you change topics frequently so you need to remind it about what you already discussed.
If it gets stuck then change how you ask the question so it has to think of a different way to answer. -
RE: [Suggestion]Open Aria AI on a new tab or windowFeedback
@denizen976 it's not a web URL, it's an extension URL and likely only valid for Opera. I had hoped there would be more functions or better layout but it appears that the format is fixed but at least you can see the whole response before it scrolls of the screen.

RE: asked the difference between Aria and other AI generative toolLounge
Depends on what you want, Aria is not a chatbot that is chatGPT.
Aria helps to find information and is a great for finding general info about stuff you have no clue about. It can also help you with ideas and lets you ask in plain language about stuff you want to know but have no clue where to find the information. It's when you are looking for specific information that it can be easier to just google it but Aria would be able to give to you with an understandable explanation once she found the data.

[Suggestion]Aria session history - last accessedFeedback
It would be handy if there was a note on the chat session list that indicated when the last interaction was so that users have an indication of how long before conversation are at risk of deletion.

RE: General Aria Feedback TopicFeedback
@Chuunihan I find it's helpful to ask Aria to explain the error in the previous reply. Alternatively copy Aria's answer and paste it as Quote1: then ask Aria to review the quote. Most of the time this helps to get Aria unstuck.
Frequently this sort of problem is due to Aria not completely understanding what the context of the question is.I've had an argument or two with Aria about languages, the problem comes down to two main factors. First is that there is limited source material for it to reference to comprehend languages other than English. The second is it's default language is English and this cannot be changed so if it doesn't understand or has a problem it's likely to respond in English.
Try specifying that you want responses in Bulgarian. -
RE: Aria only to answer in English?Feedback
@os007 I got some more detailed information from Aria about this.
The short answer is that the majority of research is done in English which provides a larger dataset available in that language, Aira does have datasets for other languages but they are more limited and not as accurate due to this.
The second problem is that NLP has to be optimised for the specifics of a language for it to be processed correctly. So similar to somebody learning a language to go on holiday, English NLP can process other languages but there are going to be errors simply due it not being a native language.
Aria will try and respond in the language a question is asked in but will default to English if it has problems.

According to Aria the 30 days is from the last interaction, I'm assuming this refers to an query and answer set rather than just reading the conversation history.

RE: What is the reason for the current available AIs in sidebar have been chosen?AI tools: Sidebar, Prompts, AI tooltip
@xb70
Aria is the Ai built into the Opera browser, which uses a version of the OpenAi GPT Ai learning dataset for it's core learning.
The chatGPT Ai is OpenAi own conversation Ai trained on a similar GPT dataset.
I have not come across the other Ai offered as a plugin to the Browser.Only Aria is integrated with the browser, the other two Ai are links to external services.
