I really want to thank you for this tip.
Mouse gestures and Instant Search were my main reasons of using opera and they just removed one of them in 68.

I've been using Opera67 just for the sake of Instant Search. I even deleted opera_autoupdater to prevent upgrades but somehow it managed to upgrade itself yesterday.

Trufflepiggy is not good as instant search right now, but devs assured me they are working on it.
I want to thank you sincerely.

that's what i said, there must be problem on addon. i switched to 'mate translate' which works perfect.

@acidinmyfridge i downloaded ueli app, it uses alt+space shortcut just like instant search, but only searches apps in my computer which is not necessary for me. I'm already using voidtools' "everything" app for that purpose.

at least give us an option to enable it via flags or sth

is instant search feature back for some reason? if not im not going to update..

mouse gestures and instant search are the main reasons why i use this browser at the first place. i saw some other posts and a moderator claiming they replaced instant search with "search in tabs" feature, which was already a feature that can be accessed by ctrl+space

im using opera for years and i never actually found myself in need to search in my tabs. on the other hand instant search (alt+space) was the main part of my daily browser usage.

cant you at least give us an option to enable in the flags or sth?

i downgraded to v67 just for instant search's sake..
