I am playing with Windows 10, Installed Opera 12.17 so that I can get my Speeddials imported to Opera 31 that also is installed.

      Opera 12.17 is install as a 64Bit version and Opera 31 as a 32.?

The Windows 10 file structure of Opera 12 is different that of Windows 7, I am using Windows 10 as a dual boot system.

So how to I import my speeddial.ini into Opera 12 running Windows 10..?

Every thing I tried dose not seem to work..

      Thanks

There is no 64 bits version of Opera Blink (Opera 15+) for Windows.

So how to I import my speeddial.ini into Opera 12 running Windows 10..?

Paste it into Opera's profile folder. Check Help > About to see the path.

I cant get Opera 31 in Windows 10 to see Opera 12.17 so that I can import the speeddials

I think may be as Opera 31 is on 32Bit and Opera 12.17 is install as a 64B system.

            Is there a x64 Opera 31..?

I now have the full speeddial.ini installed into Opera 12.17 and working

            Any clues

            Thanks

              Read my previous post.

Ah, so this is your problem. Well, try set Opera 12.17 as your default browser then run Opera 31 to see if it helps.

Maybe you will need to reinstall Opera 31.

                Hi leocg

All it needed was to install Opera 12.17 32 Bit, so removed Both Opera 12 and 31, installed the Opera 12/17 32, copied the speeddial.ini into it, then install Opera 32, import settings for Opera 12, Opera 12 never showed up before.

This is being posted from Opera 31 running in Windows 10 Build 10125/

Yes I have been using opera from back in V8 I think

None of the Opera's was set as the default, I thought I would try Opera 31 in Windows 10, but I need my 46K of speed dials loaded.

HTML5 Speed tests seems that MS Spartan/Edge is a bit slow

                  Spartan 402
                  Opera 31 525
                  Chrome 526

                  https://html5test.com/

                  Not to bad for Opera

All run under Windows 10 Build 10130

Does not say to much about MS Spartan/Edge

I think the new name of Edge is a over statement,as it does not have the Edge over
                  Opera 31.

https://html5test.com/ is not a speed-test. It tests support for features in the HTML-standard (version 5).

But indeed Edge has one speed-enhancement that is not yet implemented in V8 (Chromium’s JavaScript-engine): SIMD.js¹.

@tomahawk5000: Is it duplicates you are talking about?

Btw, I recommend that you only log in with your sync account on stable versions of Opera, both on your mobile and on your computer. If you want to test new features in Beta/Developer that requires sync, I suggest that you create a second account that you use only for testing.

No there is no duplication bookmarks
Like i say on phone i have much more bookmarks than on computer

Maybe it is some problem with opera mobile? Or it is sync bug

When I instal in phone another opera eg mini or beta than I also doesn't have all bookmarks

Very useful will be local backup bookmarks on phone

Are both desktop and mobile Opera in the same version?

If you add a bookmark on one of them, does it appears on the other?

                                  @tomahawk5001 / @tomahawk5000: Nice :yes:

Now just remember to not log in with it on Beta/Developer so your account doesn't become "corrupt".

@tomahawk5001: On Windows, download the portable version (http://www.opera.com/download/get/?partner=www&opsys=Windows), extract the exe file (for example with 7-zip), and the output folder is your portable version. To run opera, enter the folder, and run the opera.exe file.
