menu bar and speed dial

Some other topics I have perused suggest that the menu bar has been abandoned, but perhaps someone knows of an extension that adds it back in?
I am also wondering whether it is possible to remove the grey bar in the speed dial with "speed dial" "bookmarks" "discover" "tabs" "history" in it, as well as the tiny little search in the upper right corner(I have already disabled the large search bar with power settings)
oh and if anyone knows an extension to put tabs underneath the search bar that would also be greatly appreciated

No extension can add the menu bar back in. A thought though. If you need to see the menu, just press the alt key (or alt f) (or click it with the mouse cursor). It's so simple, and without having the menu across the top of the browser, you save a lot of real estate for the browser.
In my speed dial, I have across the bottom, Speed Dial, Bookmarks, Discover, Tabs, History. And I also have the tiny search in the upper right. I don't think you can remove that. The search bar can be helpful if you have a lot in your speed dial, as it helps you find things.
As far as I know, I don't think there is an extension that can move the tabs underneath the search bar.

You might look into one of the speed dial replacement extensions. They could completely change the speed dial an dthat would most likely get read of the bars you don't like.

It may not be that easy to get the speed dial replacement extensions -- like the Chrome Momentum extension discussed in the thread below -- to work.
