Only cache deletion and reboot is at hand. Also app stop and restart was suggested on GP.

@tlorenzger, sorry you can only access those files if you have a rooted phone which I presume you don't. I do remember we used to have a debug option to start without "session restore" which is what we call it. I'm not sure if we still have that and whether or not it's there in production builds. I'll check with someone tomorrow.

Hello
Phone is not rooted (up to now). Does it help if application is copied to external SD card? Or are such settings still stored internally? -

Hey, sorry... without actually getting the phone in my hands I think I'm out of ideas on how to solve this for you unless a future upgrade fixes it but I can understand if you don't want to wait for that.

Actually...maybe this is the same issue as this thread https://forums.opera.com/topic/9776/opera-beta-hangs-right-after-starting/6
There's some additional info there in the logcat. Let us dig into that one.

Just wanted to say, I had the same problem on my phone,
- opera mobile 26 on xperia Z1C running kitkat 4.4.4
basically crashing after viewing a wikipedia page...
read through this and the other thread, so updated to version 37 and everything's running ok once againAs a note, I WAS able to get to my install directory by using the "backup & restore" app on the phone, and using this https://nelenkov.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/unpacking-android-backups.html
which in theory would also then allow me to 'repack' and restoreThanks all
