        Open options (Alt+P) and go to 'On startup'. Look at what your set pages are. Also have a look in your extensions and plugins (two separate pages) and make sure its not in there also. Also, when you say 'most' anti-adware, did that include Malwarebytes, Spybot and ADWCleaner?

        Do you know where you picked it up from to begin with?

          checked all three , no trace of mystartsearch , closed the mystartsearch tab , set (specific pages) on new pages , restart opera and boom was back again....

          cleaned with ;
          adblock plus malwarebytes and herd protect.
          spybot picked up a lot when i just ran it

          probably picked it up on one of the kids websites dragans or somethng like that where u need to install players .. players are ok but if you forget to un-tag.......

              Did you check your set pages in Opera Options? How about the Plugin and Extensions pages? Did you try malwarebytes? Also, did you check Programs and Features in the Windows Control Panel?

                Definitely use Malwarebytes. I have used it on other machines and works like a charm.

                    Do you have Opera shortcut somewhere? (Sure you do.) Check shortcut properties - some badwares attach themselves just to command line to run executable.

                      +1 to what donq wrote. Also, double-check your search engines... mystartsearch is known to install its own search engine and try to make it default (not so easy in Opera, but still, make sure it hasn't added itself to the list).
