      When I try to login to SO with the connected Google account, I always get an error message, saying:

      =============================================

      But my GMail or anything else is working fine. Is there a problem with SO / Opera? (I'm using the newes version.)

          No. Also, I didn't encounter this problem on any other website with support for google login.

            Hmm. Just tried it myself and it went off without a hitch. It could be an extension you have installed. Try disabling them and then give it a shot.

              I have exactly the same problem. My new Opera is currently 30 while my old Opera (12.17) does not have this problem.
