Voice recognition

I've installed Opera for computers - Windows - to use voice recognition, but cannot begin to access it. The instructions say to go Tools- Preferences - etc., but there is no such path, and no reference anywhere under the red Opera button to voice recognition or speech.

Those instructions are likely for the older version of Opera. The current versions do not have voice recognition.

If you're using Windows 7 or 8, there is a good voice recognition program built into it, which is, in my opinion, way better than the voice program that was in old versions of Opera Presto. (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/set-speech-recognition#1TC=windows-7)
And to make it really good, you could add Voice Finger to the Voice Recognition program native to Windows. http://voicefinger.cozendey.com/ It's a free download for trial and very inexpensive if you want to keep it.

For the reference.
The Voice tool disappeared in Opera v.11.64, didn't it? -

Thanks very much, everyone. I was looking for something which wasn't there -! - but I'll try the system built into Windows 7.
